About IQAC
ORIGIN
IQAC was established in July 2015 to internalize the quality parameters to be sustained in all areas of the Higher Educational institution. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of our college is established to promote quality in teaching-learning as well as infrastructure through continuous monitoring and constant follow-up of undergoing activities. The cell has been functioning actively to endeavor to provide a good atmosphere in acquiring knowledge. It envisages giving Quality Assurance in all ventures undertaken by the management both in academic and administrative activities. “Quality Policy” being the VISION of our IQAC, It undertakes the mission in encouraging selfevaluation, accountability and undertakes quality-related research studies, training in skill based courses and introducing socially relevant extension programmes. It consistently works for catalytic improvement and consciously contributes towards the academic excellence of the institution. By implementing feedback system, it collaborates with other stakeholders to achieve sustainability in the higher education. The team members of the cell acquaint themselves towards collecting and collating documents with the aegis of all the faculty and non faculty members of the college for periodic assessment and presentations and plan to accredit the institution with the National Assessment and Accreditation (NAAC) and National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF)

Mission:
- To encourage departments through student Learning-centric environment by ICT tools for teaching and learning process and to inculcate value-based education system.
- Organizing of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars for student, staff and in- service programmes for the Teaching and Non-teaching staff.
- Documentation of the various programmes and acitivities leading to quality improvement.
- To achieve effective & transparent operations in Academic, Administrative and financial activities through timely internal and external audit.
- To sustain relevant and quality academic, research and extension activities.
- Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
Functions of IQAC
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
- Dissemination of information on the various quality parameters of higher education.
- Organization of workshops / seminars/ conference on quality related themes.
- Documentation of the various programmes / activities leading to quality improvement.
- Collecting feedback from Stake holders such as Parents and Alumnae.
Coordinator’s Desk
Coordinator’s Desk Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s College of Arts and Science, Kayalpatnam has established IQAC cell in 2015 as per the norms of NAAC. This is the attempt to make the institution to excel in quantitative approach the vision of IQAC is to make minority women as a best Professionalist in profession and personal as well. The IQAC provide quality consciousness through teaching faculty, infrastructure, best practices, Student centric programs and research: A continuous follow ups are made and presented to the management and periodic reviews has been undertaken. The quality provide to the students does not impact in their academic period but also to win in the socially as a women ahead. IQAC team functions enthusiastically with passionate members to prove that. Our Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s College of Arts and Science is towards the best in the quality assurance.
