Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are vital in safeguarding an individual's inventions and creative works, ensuring that their interests are protected from unauthorized usage or exploitation by others. Educational institutions, in addition to their teaching and extension activities, must foster an environment that encourages creativity and research. This supportive atmosphere is essential for promoting emerging research and innovative teaching approaches, all of which necessitate IPR protection.IPR Cell in our college is a multifaceted asset that not only protects and promotes the institution's intellectual property but also enhances its overall reputation, fosters a culture of innovation, attracts collaborations and funding, and encourages engagement from students, faculty, and alumni alike.The College continues to uphold this excellence by setting up an IPR Cell. It was established on 2022.

The vision for an IPR Cell is to nurture creativity, protect intellectual property, drive innovation, enhance reputation, foster collaboration, empower student success and maintain continual growth.

Mission:

The mission of the IPR Cell is to educate and raise awareness about intellectual property rights, protect and promote innovation, empower students, support entrepreneurship, and uphold ethical practices while continually adapting to changes in the IPR landscape.

Objectives of the IPR cell

  • To support innovation and research activities among students and faculty.
  • To promote entrepreneurship based on college innovations.
  • To disseminate knowledge and research findings.
  • To engage students, faculty, and alumni in IPR-related activities.
  • To advocate for supportive IPR policies and regulations.
