This committee is formed with the sole purpose of maintaining discipline and order on the campus. The college campus is administered in a systematic manner to ensure efficient learning in an atmosphere of peace, safety and security. Any attempt to violate the atmosphere of peace shall be viewed very seriously. The reports of violations of college discipline rules, willful disobedience, attempts made to cause damage to life or property and any other acts which vitiate the peaceful academic environment of the college shall be reported to the Disciplinary Action Committee. The committee shall take appropriate decision based on the nature and gravity of such acts and suggests ways and means to stop the recurrence of such acts.
When a student violates the rules of the college, based on the severity of the act, the student shall be summoned by the committee and asked to offer explanation in writing, and even after submission of such an explanation, if the student does not show any sign of regret or still continues the willful act of violation, then the same matter shall be reported to the parents. Even after all these attempts, if the same student continues to act in open violation, then the matter shall be viewed very seriously and on the advice of duly appointed committee that student may be removed from the roll of the college.
