துறையின் தொலை நோக்கு

தனிமனித வாழ்வு, ஒழுக்கம், பண்பாடு, பழக்கவழக்கம் என மனித வாழ்வின் இலக்கினை இயம்பும் தமிழ் இலக்கியத்தினை கற்று, தங்கள் சிந்தனையைப் பரிமாற்றம் செய்து, பல்வேறு துறைகளிலும் மேம்பட்ட வளர்ச்சியைப் பெற்று, நாகரிக முன்னேற்றம் அடைவதற்கு வழிகாட்டியாக அமையும் எம் தமிழ்த்துறை, எழுத்தாற்றலையும் படைப்பாற்றலையும் வாழ்வியல் நெறிமுறைகளையும் இளம் சமுதாயத்திற்கு அளிப்பதையே தலையாய கடமையாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது.

துறையின் நோக்கம்

மாணவியர் தமிழ்மொழியின் கலை மற்றும் இலக்கண இலக்கிய அறிவை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ளுதல் பட்ட மேற்படிப்பு படிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வத்தை உருவாக்குதல் ஊடகத்துறையிலும் தமிழ்நாடு அரசு நடத்தும் போட்டித்தேர்வுகளிலும் மாணவியர் வெற்றிபெற்று வேலைவாய்ப்பினைப்பெற்று சமுதாயத்தில் நன்மதிப்புடன் வாழச்செய்தல் என்பதே தமிழ்த்துறையின் நோக்கமாகும்.

VISION

Our Tamil Department will learn Tamil Literature, Will learn Tamil literature, which fulfils the goal of human life such as personal life, discipline, culture and customs, exchange their thoughts, achieve better development in various fields and guide the progress of civilization. The foremost duty is impart to the young society the capacity to write, creativity and the ethics of life.

MISSION

The objective of the Tamil Department is developing knowledge of art and grammar and literature of Tamil language and to inculcate a desire to pursue post graduate courses. The objective of the Tamil Department is to ensure that the girl succeed in the field of media and competitive examinations conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu and get employment opportunities and lead a good life in the society.
