TRANSPORT
When the University grants affiliation to a new programme at the college, the management is wise enough to provide the students with the necessary facilities, one of which is transportation. The college has a fleet of 16 vehicles to transport nearly 1,300 students and staff to various locations far and near, and parents feel secure sending their children to college via college bus. Our students are also provided with vehicles in order for them to travel and participate in inter-college activities and study related industrial visits.
All vehicles are outfitted with GPS-based tracking equipment and GPRS-enabled RFID readers to ensure error-free attendance while allowing parents to track their children's movements in real time. CCTV Cameras have been installed in every vehicle ensuring the safety and security of our girl students
The vehicles are well maintained and supervised by a transport manager who has been appointed for this purpose. A mechanic is also hired full-time to fix the problems, and repairs are started right away. The transports run from east to west and north to south, covering a radius of 55 kilometres in all directions.
